Security experts warned that our Tower entrance needed an upgrade to better protect our students and staff. Now all visitors enter through the School Office to access the school. Plus, our SCRIP customers have easy access to purchases through a pass-through window.
FVL's single art studio was scheduled to capacity and more students than ever were signing up for the expanded art curriculum. The newly added studio features natural light, movable tables, and expanded storage.
Classroom space was at a premium in 2018 along with the need for meeting spaces, especially on the lower level. A multi-use space was created in the Fine Arts wing that serves classroom needs, offers practice space for the Choraliers and Dance Team, and becomes our Community Room to host smaller meetings.

Growing enrollment meant the school had run out of science lab space. In addition to another Biology Lab, a STEM Biomedical Sciences Lab was added to serve the growing number of FVL students pursuing medical careers.
